EcoPlaster Smooth Tinting and Mixing Guide

Pigments: up to 15%	Or up to 150gr Pigment for 1 kg plaster 1.5 kg Pigment for 10 kg plaster 5 oz Pigment for 2 lb plaster
Water: for trowel consistency,	add plaster to 35% to 40% water Or 350 to 400 ml for 1 kg plaster 3.5 to 4 liters (approx 1 gallon) for 10 kg plaster 1 quart for 5.5 lb plaster
Add water if too thick To obtain the same color with EcoPlaster Smooth and Coarse, use twice as much pigment in the smooth. Application Depending on the style and technique, EcoPlaster Smooth can be applied with a stainless steel trowel, a wide colorwash brush, comb or other texture tool for different creative effects. Drying time between coats is 2 to 4 hours, depending on conditions. EcoPlaster Smooth dries to a lighter color than the wet mixture. Wet EcoPlaster Smooth has a pot life of approx. 2 weeks, depending on storage conditions and climate. Dry EcoPlaster can be stored for as long as needed. After mixing Natural Earth Pigments in EcoPlaster Smooth, we recommend storing and labeling a small portion of the dry mix for possible touch ups.
